Hello beauties!
Life has been hectic. It's been one of those times in life when you reflect back and you can't help but smile and feel so lucky. It's like every thing that has happened in my life in Vancouver was taken care of by the universe. I surrender, let go and said YES! It made me realise how we really can manifest our best life and make our dreams a reality.
So, here's five tips I've learnt along the way to help you manifest your best life and actually live your dreams or as I like to say live your best life.
1. Truly envision your dreams and you better believe it's going to happen.
For me, the first step is literally dreaming and envisioning it happening. Once I settled on the decision to commit to the move to Canada I saw myself there in a nice apartment, consistently working on my acting, in a job that was paying the bills and surrounded by people who are on the same wavelength. Every day I always came back to this vision. The thing with manifesting your best life is that it is always shifting and paving the way. Flash forward I'm currently living in Vancouver, created a space that feels like home and have slowly built a network for myself within 3 months! The first step is telling yourself it's happening - it's not easy but you just have to keep going!
2. Surround yourself with people who believe in you and make you happy.
This theme is very common on my blog but I believe it's so important and always good to be reminded. Find people you vibe with. I know having dabbled in the corporate world they always say in interviews you have 5-10 seconds to make an impression as soon as you walk into the door - this is a vibe and energy people are sharing about you this works the same way in friendships. You know when you meet someone straight away if you vibe - keep those people. Also, don't waste on time on those who don't vibe with you or distant themselves - keep doing you boo!
3. Take time to always remind yourself of your goals and what your vision board.
This one I swear by - I keep a little journal next to my bed and each month write down my goals and have a vision of what I want my ideal life to look like. When I feel overwhelmed or lost I come back to this and it keeps me grounded. It's also motivating to have a vision of where you are working towards - try it!
4. Take up an activity that keeps you grounded when things get overwhelmed.
Having moved to Vancouver I've learnt to get involved in activities that aren't necessarily
acting and creative to keep me grounded when things get overwhelmed. For me it's dabbling in dance classes, barre, yoga and meditation. Find something that vibes with you and stick to it!
5. Be grateful and celebrate your tiny successes!
I love keeping a gratitude list. It's a great practice to write down 3 things each day you are grateful for - counting your lucky stars. It also puts everything into perspective because we often compare ourselves to others but what if we shifted that focus on ourselves and our life? Celebrate you and what you have going on in life - you are doing so great!!
Hope these tips help you! Always reach out to me if they are - I love hearing from you! :)
